SUMMARY:Encaustic Printmaking Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:Sydney Printmakers Anna Russell and Anthea Boesenberg will be visiting Townsville in June and will give a demonstrations on encaustic techniques and printing on wax:\n\nAnthea will present Encaustic for Printmakers.\nIncluding encaustic collage\, wax as a resist\, wax monotype\, 3D forms in paper using wax\, encapsulating and adhering prints to a board with wax and working into prints using wax. She will also talk about materials\, equipment and health and safety issues with wax.\n\nAnna will present Printing on wax.\nIncluding printing with relief and intaglio on and under encaustic surfaces\, using stained and folded paper as the substrate.
