DESCRIPTION:Free community art workshops: 10am - 1pm \nSaturday 24 February 2018\nSaturday 03 March 2018\nSaturday 10 March 2018\nSaturday 17 March 2018\nSaturday 24 March 2018\nSunday 25 March 2018\n\nCome join Umbrella Studio and add your touch to a large artwork that will be displayed at this year’s Groovin the Moo festival on 6 May 2018.\n\nWorking with arts facilitator Ann Bartholomeusz\, participants will help create three large tepee structures made with bamboo that are covered with CDs\, ribbons\, string\, wool in a rainbow of colours! Once assembled at the festival site\, the teepee’s will not only form a colourful and powerful representation of our community but provide a chill out area and some much needed shade from the North Queensland sun!\n\nAs a participant\, you could be in with a chance of receiving a FREE TICKET to our local Groovin the Moo festival. Participants can come for one session or as many as they like. To be eligible for a free ticket to Groovin the Moo\, Townsville you are required to attend a minimum of two full sessions. Your name will then be put into a draw to win a ticket\, there are 35 to be won! Umbrella Studio will announce the winners on Sunday 22 April 2018.\n\nPlease note: all children under 13 years old must be supervised by an adult.\n\nAccess to the workshop is via our back entrance off Ogden Street.
