DESCRIPTION:This workshop is across two Saturdays:\n\n10am - ­3:30pm Saturday 18 March\n 10am - ­3:30pm Saturday 25 March\n\n\tDive Deeper into your Practice\n\tBuild a Rich Body of Work\n\tTake part in insightful Group Critiques\n\tFocus on the foundations and Conceptual Development of your work\n\nThis is a course for all artists and creative types. Over two days across two weeks learn about the blueprint to building a rich body of work around a topic or theme of your choice. The Lamplighters course is about building the concept and ideas in your work using dynamic research principles.\n\nThe course is in a group environment and discussion is a main benefit.\n\nIn the course you will learn what steps to go through from the birth of a creative idea\, through to the creation\, testing\, development and completion stages. You will learn how to deepen and enrich your creative processes.\n\nYou will leave the course with a solid\, grounded plan for building a new exciting body of work! And lots of support to see you achieve your plans.\n\nThis is a great course to join if you need a spark of inspiration to kick start your art making for 2017.\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n\tYour own laptop with WiFi capabilities. We will be able to use the internet in the Umbrella Studio space.\n\nFacilitator Bio:\nAlex Christopher is an arts educator\, writer\, community curator and sometimes artist. She has a small business that keeps artists and business people on track with their making and promotions.\n\nThe facilitator will be able to offer individual support after you have completed the course.
