DESCRIPTION:Location: 27 Framara Drive\, Kelso\n\n\nAll are welcome to join artist/printmaker Sheree Kinlyside in Red Rag Press studios for conversation\, observation and to learn more about the use of letterpress printing and various image making techniques. These will be demonstrated by some of the artists featured in the Umbrella Studio exhibition\, Commentary: Hand-printed Posters from North Queensland Artists. \n\nCommentary is an extraordinary group exhibition co-ordinated by Red Rag Press allowing fifteen North Qld artists to investigate the use of traditional letterpress in large format. With a political bent\, the exhibition seeks to highlight the importance\, craft and power of the hand made poster.\n\nThis exhibition was supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund\, which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Townsville Cuty Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n
