Blogging, Facebook, Instagram, eNewsletters etc for Artist Promotion (and SALES!)

This is a four hour course run by Alex Christopher for artists with an established website who want to learn how to use social media to engage people with their artmaking.

We will go over content marketing principles, the basic programs you can use, and we will also create a 12 month plan for what you can post about. Not knowing what to say and share is a main reason artists give up on self promotion!

We will explore what your work and artistic goals are and devise the key messages that you can send across a number of platforms.

This will lead on to how to set up these profiles and also what to post to them. We will look at options for promotion, sales and connection with others to build your audience.

You will look at:

  • Blogging
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter (plus more!)
  • eNewsletters

What to Bring:

  • Your own laptop with WiFi capabilities. We will be able to use the internet in the Umbrella Studio space.
    All other materials will be supplied.

The facilitator will be able to offer individual support after you have completed the course. This is to be arranged directly with the facilitator. You are eligible to 50% off the individual support if you sign up to this course.
