CREATIVE KIDS | Foam Printing Workshop with Ann Bartholomeusz

Calling all children 6-9 years old! Join Umbrella and local artist Ann Bartholomeusz from 10am – 11am Saturday 17 April 2021 to create your own colourful print works. Children will be guided through a variety of processes to cut and create colourful, textured images and backgrounds with foam sheets. This workshop will take place in Umbrella’s downstairs Makerspace at 408 Flinders St (next to Mary Who? Bookshop and opposite Woolworths).
Tickets $38 per child | Limited to 10 spaces | Bookings close 5pm Thursday 15 April 2021
Adult guardians are not required for this workshop however they are welcome to assist and watch. Children should wear closed-in shoes and old clothing or an apron as the workshop may get messy! Bring along some shapes you’d like to cut and print, or get creative on the day! All other materials will be provided.
Ann Bartholomeusz is Umbrella’s current artist-in-residence as part of the PressNorth Printmakers Residency program. She has completed arts studies in the UK and been a practising artist for many years in Australia.
