At Home Artist In Residence Program

Umbrella is thrilled to announce the successful applicants for our new At Home Artist In Residence (AHAIR) program. The three North Queensland artists will create new work from their home-studios for two weeks in June. Read more about the artists’ projects by clicking on the links below:

The AHAIR program is presented in partnership with the Regional Art Services Network (RASN), North QLD. It is a pivot in response to COVID-19 and our usual Studio Residencies. The program provides opportunities for North Queensland visual artists who have lost income and opportunities as a result of the coronavirus.

Umbrella Studio acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians, the Gurambilbarra Wulgurukaba and Bindal people of the lands and seas where we operate. We pay respects to their elders past, present, and future.
