Young artists residing in North Queensland between the ages of 15 and 25 were invited to submit work in the Audio-Technica Young Artist Prize. The prize promotes excellence, experimentation and innovation and aims to encourage young and emerging artists. The unified theme Messages was interpreted by 40 artist in many media – including painting, sculpture, installation, print, film and mixed media.
