Come join Umbrella Studio and add your touch to a large artwork that will be displayed at this year’s Groovin the Moo festival on 6 May 2018.

Working with arts facilitator Ann Bartholomeusz, participants will help create three large tepee structures made with bamboo that are covered with CDs, ribbons, string, wool in a rainbow of colours! Once assembled at the festival site, the teepee’s will not only form a colourful and powerful representation of our community but provide a chill out area and some much needed shade from the North Queensland sun!

As a participant, you could be in with a chance of receiving a FREE TICKET to our local Groovin the Moo festival. Participants can come for one session or as many as they like. To be eligible for a free ticket to Groovin the Moo, Townsville you are required to attend a minimum of two full sessions. Your name will then be put into a draw to win a ticket, there are 35 to be won! Umbrella Studio will announce the winners on Sunday 22 April 2018.

Please note: all children under 13 years old must be supervised by an adult.

Access to the workshop is via our back entrance off Ogden Street.
