Learn to prepare photographic and drawn imagery using transparencies and layering for photogravure plates. Discover single and multicoloured techniques including viscosity printing using the photogravure plates.

Day 1 – Preparing images for plates, Exposing plates & Single colour printing and Chine-Colle.

Day 2 – Viscosity Printing & Colour techniques with intaglio and relief.

What to bring:

• 2 – 4 sheets of Printmaking paper (BFK Reeves paper preferred)
• 1-2 sheets of rice paper
• Rice glue
• Indian Ink
• Brushes
• Any black and coloured etching inks you have
• Muslin
• Tissue paper
