Are you a Mum of a baby or young toddler? Do you struggle to find engaging activities to attend with your baby that are enjoyable for you as well as Bub?
Craft like a Mother is a series of low cost, baby friendly workshops, aimed at Mum’s with newborn up to toddler aged children. These workshops are for any ladies who would like to explore the transition to Motherhood in a creative setting, and meet some like-minded people along the way.
There will be an assistant to help with Bub if needed and a playpen with toys for the more active little ones. You are also welcome to attend without your baby if you are able to.
Hand build your own gorgeous planter with complete instruction from Di Cali. Di, a Mum and Grandmother, has been running Clayworx for over 20 years and teaching pottery to everyone, from young children to people with disabilities.
Week one – 15 July: You will be building and firing the pot.
Week two – 22 July: You will be painting and second firing
What to bring:
• Wear old clothes and covered shoes
• Di will provide all the materials required to create the planter
Babies are still welcome, however due to the fragile nature of a lot of the materials at the studio, we would prefer no toddlers if possible at this workshop (unless they can be contained in a pram).
Workshop registration and payment is required in advance of attendance. This secures your place.
