Be part of a collaborative team to create a wearable art garment for the Wearable Art Townsville show.

Work collaboratively with other participants, under the guidance of an Indigenous artist Grace Lillian Lee, to create a wearable art piece out of natural/organic materials. The final garment will be showcased on the runway at the WAT event on Friday 26th May as part of the Townsville Fashion Festival.

Participants will gain valuable knowledge of traditional skills and techniques to create wearable art, as well as material selections.

This workshop is ideal for experienced and budding artists wanting to learn new skills and be inspired to turn ideas into reality using natural fibres to create wearable art garments.
