Be part of a collaborative team to create a wearable art garment for the Wearable Art Townsville show.

Work collaboratively with other participants, under the guidance of esteemed wearable artist Claudia Williams, you will create a wearable art piece out of recycled materials. The final garment will be showcased on the runway at the Wearable Art Townsville (WAT) event on Friday 26th May as part of the Townsville Fashion Festival.

Participants will gain valuable knowledge of skills and techniques in creating wearable art, as well as material selections.

This workshop is ideal for experienced and budding artists wanting to learn new skills and be inspired to turn ideas into reality using everyday materials to create wearable art garments.

Suitable for ages 15 years – Adult.
