This exhibition is a selection of work resulting from a 2014 project initiated by Gai Copeman and auspiced by Umbrella Studio to provide professional development and social interactions for local artist for artistic development and appreciation of watercolour painting. 11 artists participated in this project funded by the Townsville City Council Regional Arts Development.

The Groovin the Moo Sister Cities Art Project engaged 17 young local emerging artists between the ages of 14-22 to produce poster artworks to display in an eye-catching exhibition at the Groovin the Moo Townsville festival. The artists attended a series of workshops at Umbrella Studio contemporary arts that was mentored by two professional artists, Aaron Ashley and Hannah Murray.
