A multi-space exhibition that aims to celebrate both the art and architecture of the North Queensland and Townsville area. Townsville architect Terry O’Toole’s showcases his eclectic collection of commissioned works by local artists exploring the buildings and architecture of North Point Developments and Troppo Architects.

A project by Townsville artists in collaboration with ABC Open and The Barrier Reef Orchestra. The digital projection responds to the 15 minute work titled, Mangrove by Australian Composer Peter Sculthorpe, presenting the unique mangroves landscape to create a multisensory experience.

A Stairwell exhibition by Joy Manly of distressed and manipulated recycled cardboard, creating a variety of different textural effects; incorporating handmade paper and textiles.

International exhibition and exchange of 12x12cm works on paper. 176 local, national and international artists from 14 countries are participating in the 7th incarnation of Umbrella’s signature, biennialprint exhibition. Also, come and visit Main Space artist in residence, Sally Pryor. Sally will be extending her technical skills from computer programming into electronics and physical computing. This will also include textiles, embroidery and fridge magnets.
