In 1993, I helped found the Mount Isa contemporary art group, Stack Arts In 1997 I I commenced a Bachelor of Visual Arts at James Cook University In 1997, and went on to complete Honours, Masters and then a PhD in Creative Arts. After completing studies, I undertook International artist residencies in Wales (2013-14 and China 2015.
At James Cook University, I lectured and tutored in fine art practice, across various disciplines and art theory/history. Works are held in private international, National, State and regional gallery collections. I now work primarily in printmaking and drawing with interests in photography and animation. Over the years I have judged exhibitions and curated several exhibitions and projects.
