Sydney Printmakers Anna Russell and Anthea Boesenberg will be visiting Townsville in June and will give a demonstrations on encaustic techniques and printing on wax:

Anthea will present Encaustic for Printmakers.
Including encaustic collage, wax as a resist, wax monotype, 3D forms in paper using wax, encapsulating and adhering prints to a board with wax and working into prints using wax. She will also talk about materials, equipment and health and safety issues with wax.

Anna will present Printing on wax.
Including printing with relief and intaglio on and under encaustic surfaces, using stained and folded paper as the substrate.
