$80,000 Public Art Commission – Southern Gateway

19/02/2014

Albury City Council have an exciting opportunity for artists/designers to create a significant gateway sculpture as part of our 2010-2020 Urban and Public Art Strategy.  The location for the work is the East Street entrance into Albury from the Hume Freeway. The site has excellent exposure to the Melbourne-Sydney rail line, the Hume Freeway, and local traffic. Albury City envisage the work becoming a key beacon for the city and is the first of a series of gateway sculptures.

Council is seeking interest from suitably qualified and experienced artist/designers with a proven record in undertaking large scale public art projects.

Submissions close 1st April 2014
